Problem Note 34325: Performance problems occur when using the ExcelXP tagset on the Microsoft Windows 64 operating system
Performance problems occur when using the ExcelXP tagset on the Microsoft Windows 64 operating system. Generating output with the ExcelXP tagset is significantly slower and the program might appear to be caught in a loop when working with larger data sets. Both the clock and the CPU times increase significantly when using the ExcelXP tagset on this operating system.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
